Application to operate a Taxi or Shuttle from Wellington International Airport
Please complete, sign and return this form to Wellington Airport Operations along with a copy of your:
- SPSV license
- Unique ID
- Drivers License
- Area Knowledge Certificate
This license can take three working days to process. When you present us with the above documentation, we will endeavour to have the completed licence ready for you to collect during the next taxi administration period at which time we will perform the vehicle inspection.

We complete Taxi relicensing in May of each year. This involves every Taxi Operator confirming their WIAL records, paying their annual on-demand and/or pre-chartered fees, and passing a vehicle inspection, in receipt of which they receive that years decal for their vehicle.
