WELLINGTON AIR NOISE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

The Wellington Air Noise Management Committee (ANC) is responsible for overseeing compliance with the Noise Management and District Plans. It meets on average once every two months.

It is made up of representatives from the following:

aircraft
  • Local residents
  • Board of Airline Representatives New Zealand (BARNZ)
  • Local non BARNZ operators
  • Airways Corporation New Zealand
  • Wellington International Airport Limited (WIAL)
  • Wellington City Council
  • Technical advisers to WIAL and residents
  • New Zealand Defence Force
